O3 Enterprise and Medishare Telemedicine will be the protagonists of the next edition of Google Cloud Next to be held in San Francisco, at the Moscone Center, from 9 to 11 April 2019. Google Cloud Next is a global event where moments of presentation, training, and innovation are concentrated with best practices and case studies coming from all over the world. In particular, the focus is on the impact of the cloud in business and in the daily activity of companies, their customers and stakeholders. The Google Cloud Next exhibition offers the opportunity to experience the potential of the cloud at first hand through countless interventions such as demonstrations, bootcamps, and round tables. Lorenzo Rizzatto, technical director of O3 Enterprise, during the “Telemedicine: A Global Perspective” panel scheduled for Thursday 11 April, will present two case studies of great interest to the health sector and, in particular, medical imaging. In fact, teleradiology will be presented through the case of Medishare Telemedicine. The company is a provider of radiologic remote referencing services throughout Italy through the ZeeroMED platform, that enables daily collaboration between its own team of 25 radiologists and the 32 health facilities that, until now have started the service. Also of great interest is the mammography screening project of ULSS 2 Marca Trevigiana, started in January, again on the ZeeroMED platform and Google Cloud Platform, which connects 6 centers for performing mammography examinations at the hospitals of Treviso, Montebelluna, Castelfranco Veneto, Vittorio Veneto, Conegliano, Motta di Livenza and a single reporting center where senologists are concentrated. The panel will also provide a live comparison between different realities including Portal Telemedicina (Brazil), Rad-AID (USA) and MNES (Japan). “Surely this invitation is an honor for Medishare Telemedicine – says managing director Stefano Fait – and aim to be a recognition for the good work done by the whole team and for the technological choices that have allowed us this rapid and constant growth. Google Cloud Next will also give us the opportunity to confront ourselves with other similar realities to understand how the daily problems related to teleradiology and the future development prospects linked to the Cloud were managed ”.
